college life

A group of 17 college and young adults ventured down to Galveston Island for a week long mission trip over spring break!  Hurricane Ike hit Texas last year and did a lot of damage, expeically to the island.  We worked on 2 jobs while down there.  We put up sheetrock and mudded a home for an elderly couple, and built portable showers for a nearby church to house up to 200 volunteers.  We all had a blast and made it back safely! Pastor Adam will be preaching a sermon series entitled “When Christians Get It Wrong”.  I want to encourage you to check it out!  Not only is this an awesome topic, but it is for you!  This series is talking about young adults ranging from 18 to 29 and the hard topics facing our age range.  Even if you won’t be able to attend the services, you can view it online.  Also, you can give your opinion about how Christians get it wrong.  Give your imput!
